The second-year pro missed the last two weeks of the preseason after banging his right thumb on the helmet of a pass rusher during an exhibition against the Kansas City Chiefs on Aug. Freeman could have as many as two rookie receivers to throw passes to. On defense, the Bucs will rely on two rookie defensive tackles: Gerald McCoy, a first-round pick from Oklahoma and Brian Price, a second-rounder from UCLA.
